Getting Started with Drones at UCLA
It’s important to get these logistical items set up before you go out and fly. So this is a checklist of mandatory technical and legal steps to review in order to be insured by UCOP.
- Register the drone purchased with both the FAA and UCOP. Once the drone is registered with UCOP the drone is under the UC’s Insurance program and considered property of the University of California.
