SSC offers a variety of services to undergraduate students, graduate students, staff, and faculty within the
Social Services Division. For students, 3 computing labs with the latest productivity
and class-related software are available for drop-in computing. Undergraduate students can also print
ClassWeb syllabi, class notes, and discussions from their subsidized printing accounts.
For graduate students, SSC offers UNIX Shell account and remote access to Windows 2003 server for computation
of statistical data.
SSC strives to meet all the computing needs of our faculty and staff. We are a full service facility offering
network connectivity, email accounts, course management capabilities, software/hardware troubleshooting, administrative
programming, computer security, multimedia development, specialized training/tutorial and free equipment checkout.
In large departments, there is also an on-site technical advisor to help faculty and staff fulfill their computing
needs quickly.
