In addition to three labs in Public Policy equipped with projection units, SSC has available for loan a Dell Laptop and In Focus portable projectors suitable for use with desktop or laptop computers and even VCRs. As a courtesy service, Social Sciences Computing loans out LCD projectors to faculty and staff for departmental use. Please make projector reservations at least 48 hours in advance to ensure that the equipment is available. During check out, specify when the projector will be returned to SSC (not to exceed 24 hours). You can also request a demo on how to use the projector at this time. Once the projector is checked out, we may not be able to troubleshoot any problems. Lab consultants are unavailable to provide on-site projector support as they are required to be present in the computing labs at all times. We appreciate your understanding.

SSC has available for staff and faculty an external DVD+/-R burner which will burn up to 4.7GB of information onto a blank DVD. Please provide your own DVD+/-R/RW. The external burner is compatible with firewire and USB ports. Software and drivers are included.
