What is Microsoft Office?
Integration of an essential array of intelligent, versatile software applications. With this suite, not only will you be equipped to do more with less effort—you'll be within easy reach of the Internet and all it has to offer, as well. Office helps organizations increase productivity, share and analyze information more easily, and reduce cost of ownership. The new version of Office delivers applications that extend desktop productivity to the Web, thereby streamlining information flow and enhancing collaboration.

Microsoft Office includes:

  • Microsoft Access
  • Microsoft Infopath

Using Microsoft Office:

  • In the SSC labs, double-click on the icon for Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access to launch the application.

Microsoft OfficeSupport:

  • The consultants at the Help Desk in the Public Policy lab are trained to answer many of the basic questions users may have regarding WORD, EXCEL or POWERPOINT. For help on more specific questions in any of the programs in MS Office, try Microsoft's Office Assistance page.
